Hi everyone Im just too busy this passed few days in our office. We have our screening on  scholarship applicants. Im working in a private entity giving scholarship to our young guys graduates on their secondary level who are deserving yet can’t afford to pursue their dream career. This people came from province who came in the city to try their luck if theres a chance or a possibilities to continue their dream career. We gave a set of exam and after is the ridgid interview from the screening committee. I’m the one assissting them. While waiting for their turn to be interview I’m also asking where they from and also their way of life in the province. I have this guy feel sleepy while waiting I asked him if there is something wrong with him and He said, Ma’am I came from a Province and I woke up 3 A.M so I could catch the first trip of the bus so I could arrived her early at 7:30 am because the time in my letter is 8 a.m. I said ahh okey.. in my mind I said God blessd him .. my heart melt of what he said. I ask him about him and his family how many brothers and sister he has and he said they are 7 and his father is a farmer and his mother took care of his brothers and sister he is 3rd of the children from eldest. He graduate in high school valedictorian in their school. See, despite of their family situation still he got the high rank. And hoping that he can passed the scholarship or else he would be like his father a farmer as he said. If this people giving a chance I believe that they  be what they want someday. Because their hardship will push them to be good in their studies and achieve their dreams. As I read their write up most of them are aim to finish and have a career for them to help their family.

    I remember a speaker of one of our conferences for our scholars before said "How I wish I could bring all of my student here listen of all your stories what are your hardships just to achieve your dream career." Because the speaker is one of the professor in an elite school in the city. And his student have more than enough for them to go to school but wasting their parents resources and time because they are not studying well and some hang up on the computer games and internet cafe. Sometimes we can say that why this people have, but not doing good and thinking of someday they would be like this having a good career pursue their dreams. They are only thinking of today and believe that they have so much so they dont need to study well…..  I could also said to myself If I could only have more so I could help them also… becuase our slot here in the limited only so not everybody can avail. In our applicants only 25 % of the total applicant can avail the scholarship since the funds is not sufficient to get them all. CHANCES ARE!! if they can get or avail other scholarship or parents can’t able to send them school those dreams and hope to have better future and aim of helping their parents gone nothing….
